OUR MISSION
We are making Oklahoma streets safer for pedestrians, bicyclists, and drivers! As a community, we must share the road and learn to
move together.
Drivers, bicyclists and pedestrians have a shared responsibility to watch out for each other and follow the rules of the road.
Traffic and pedestrian laws may vary somewhat from city to city, but the general safety guidelines provided are current best practices for all.

ABOUT THIS CAMPAIGN
Oklahoma ranks 14th as the most dangerous state for pedestrians. While local governments are working to provide safer infrastructure for bicyclists and pedestrians, there is a long way to go and the high number of pedestrian deaths are a major concern. In the last five years, there were nearly 450 fatal and serious injuries to pedestrians and bicyclists traveling on our roads. We launched the “Watch for Me OK” education campaign to help raise awareness of all road users and educate the public on how to stay safe. Whether you’re walking, biking, or driving you can protect yourself and others from collisions.
